Google Play Rebrand

Google Play needed a rebrand following the redesign of the Google logo. We created new color gradients for the icons the icons and used the Play triangle to unify the icons across categories. I was one of two designers who worked on the rebrand, from initial explorations to final launch. I also created the animation that cycles through all the icons.
We abstracted the three key elements (sharp gradients, the google play “cross and the triangular play button shape), and incorporated them into all of the other icons to create a cohesive Google Play ecosystem.
